I grew up in Port Jefferson Station Long Island. Colosseos Pizza had/has the best Sicilian pizza around. The main reason is they don't precook the crust, they cook it all fresh to order. Jets Pizza in Clearwater Florida does it the same. A great tang to the sauce, good cheese, and the crust is perfect. If I close my eyes it's like I'm home. I'm a Sicilian pizza guy, and in 16 years in Florida, this is the first place that makes it like Colosseos, like home.

This has been on my to-do list for a while. I tried them over 10 years ago and I remember them being very good. Nowadays I follow total different standards! 1. Pleasantly surprised to see the sign hanging saying that they use grande cheese, one of the best out there. 2. My present favorite frozen pizza is Motor city pizza company ( avoid the 4 cheese one though) Jets is the same Detroit style pizza, so I couldn't wait to check it out. 3. The thing that makes Detroit pizza good and unique is the cheese around the edges that gets caramelized. 4. Sauce fell short of my higher standards and was bland tasting. 5. My rating is 7.1 ( chain store rating, different scale)
