A friend asked me once, Champ, we should go somewhere exciting tonight, somewhere that really sets the bar to an elevation never spoken of since the dawn of time. I’m talking supplied oxygen heights here. I said, homie I’ve got just the place, we’re going to flavor country where every bite is like sunshine and rainbows dancing around your taste buds. Yes, clearly this wonderful spot I’m raving about is J&N pizza, and when my friend finally realized our destination, he dropped to his knees and thanked me for bringing him to the single greatest place on earth. I also see that Joey has come around to the bright side and given this pie a rating more in line with what it deserves. Moi? A chaud? Clearly Joey thinks haute cuisine is using a fork at the local Burger Shaft adjacent to the sulfur mine. But that misguided soul will one day see the error of his ways and when he does, I’ll be there to kick him square in the Jimmy with a frozen boot and heap on “I told you so” in the end.
