Jo Jo Pizza Lynchburg

ordered a pep and a cheese slice. determined to do my review on the cheese only, but worth mentioning: the pep slice was a solid 8.0. would have loved for the cheese to flop a little less, but they certainly didn’t skimp on the cheese. in all fairness the front half was a floppy greasy mess. but a delicious one at that. i’ll stick with pep. solid pie, will repeat!

Crust was AMAZING, under carriage had a great char and not too much flop. Wish there was a little less sauce compared to cheese ratio. One of the best NY style slices in the area. We ate inside the restaurant so pizza was fresh. Overall very good and also had great food options other than pizza.

For some reason my pie came with ricotta on it. But regardless , little flop, low amount of grease. Wish the crust was done a bit more, and had some char. Not bad for middle of nowhere southwest Virginia.

Good crunch and decent cheese. Lots of flop and pretty soggy w/ slight grease+ very chalky crust. Not much sauce but Decent pizza, other people have scored too high.

Nice crispy pizza. Sauce was tasty and portioned well. Crust was good. Very good pie overall!

In Lynchburg, this is a 9.3. If this place was in NYC it’s. 7.9. Best pizza in the Hill City.
