What I expected from a NY slice. Will return.

Super thin, not all that crispy but great flavor and good cheese to sauce balance. Could have these slices all day long.

Pizza Backlog 14 | 2/19/2023 | You can never go wrong with a slice in New York City—the worst case scenario is an average one. And every now and then, one will be above average, like this one at Joe & John’s in Ridgewood, Queens. What pushes it into that territory is definitely the cheese, which is uniquely creamy. Having said that, this is clearly a place where specialty slices are king and if I ever find myself there again, I’d go with those only. Shoutout to the upside down Sicilian slice, which was probably a 7.7 and unlike any I’d ever had.

Thin, floppy, greasy, and doughy. The saving grace is a flavorful sauce.

Solid slice crispy good sauce and cheese

It honestly doesn’t get much better than this. Sweet, greasy goodness. Very strong flop. The best slice you can get on Myrtle Ave hands down

My personal fave. Ordered 2 regular pies, 1 sicilian pie, and 1 upside down pie for 12 people visiting. Everyone raved about the sauce. Cheese was fresh as you pulled the slices apart. Regular crust needed more crisp and the score would have been even higher.

More seasoning in the sauce would be nice. Overall good pizza. Slightly above average 👌🏼

Reheated slice. Very floppy. Average taste. Sicilian was good but not worth going out of your way for.

Low key this place has really good breaded/fried wings.
