Solid slice. Strong bake with good crunch and only a little flop. I forgot to add any parm or flakes. My fault!

Hidden fucking gem that’s what I say. That’s what I love. A real Siciliano behind the counter slinging dough, stirring sauce, grating cheese and making a hot apizza. Everyone wants to go wait tree hours for Lucali, ya wanna stand in line with the hacks at L’Dustrie, they wanna film poor Gio making a pie at Luigi’s. Good! You stay there. Where as ppl like me will look for great pizza elsewhere. And Joe and Sals are that. This regular round pie was all the rage! Simple plain regular round but it tasted majestic. Sauce is sweeter than seeing your first pair of tits. A lite slice, a soft dough, great distribution of mozzarella. This is a top 5 pie in Brooklyn. Also another thing for you pizza lovers. Brooklyn is Kings of the Pizza Game. Keep pretending New Haven is. Keep pretending New Jersey is. Brooklyn has a classic pizzeria in every neighborhood. So ya shut it with that nonsense. Joe and Sals is Super Bowl worthy pizza. Ya bring this over your boys house while watching Football, the next time he gets married youll be standing right next to him at the alter because gay marriage is legal now.

Crust is good, thin, crunchy. Sauce and cheese are average. Good for $22.

Excellent slice!!! More of a margarita Sicilian, the crust on this slice is sooo light and airy on an almost unexpected level, fantastic crisp as well. The sauce is very fresh tasting as well as the mozz but what puts this all together is the grated cheese on top with fresh basil and hot oil, not my style of slice but man can I appreciate a kick ass pizza. Must try spot as all the specialty slices looked amazing the dough quality here is awesome!!!
