Joe's Brooklyn Pizza

First Rochester pizza review. First off, beutiful pie, super crisp and crunchy, great flavor. Sauce could be a bit sweeter but man is it flavorful. Only downside shade is the flour on under side and crust, and crust flavor could be a bit better. Nonetheless staring off hot in Rochester

Decent pizza but I honestly expected more from a place that calls itself Brooklyn pizza

Good thin crisp pizza. It’s truly NYC Pizza both in crisp and cost $5.00 a slice outrageous if you ask me

Great slice, sauce was orgasmic. Cheese was average, crust was good the only thing that held it back from a 8 was the underside of the slice was burnt and left a bitter taste towards the end. Solid 7.9. That’s a review.

This is a pretty solid New York style slice of pizza. It has good flavor and the dough is light and has that New York style bite to it. The cheese and sauce has that comforting taste that you would hope to have from a pizzeria like this one. The only complaint I have is that a few of the slices were a little floppy towards the end, but all in all, this a really solid pizza.

Joe's has an absurd amount of slices, and while I wasn't overly impressed with their basic cheese slice, there Grandpa style (at right) was incredible! Fantastic flavor with an abundance of toppings put that slice over the edge! The cheese was only in the mid sixes, but the grandpa was so good I'm bumping their score up a notch!

I had the other Joes last week, figured I’d give this location a shot and Joe didn’t disappoint. This is the place to go if you want slices. Their showcase is stacked with all sorts of awesome pies with unique toppings. The crisp is phenomenal. Razor thin and tangy sauce. The Old Fashioned slice though, that slice is something special. Super garlicky tangy slightly sweet, fresh, ZING!!! I loved it.

Awesome. This is the best slice of pizza that I've had all year. My first day in Rochester and we hit a homerun. I was just in Brooklyn last week but I got a far better slice here at Joe's Brooklyn Pizza in Rochester. Go figure. Thin crispy airy crust. Cheese was a little greasy but I liked it. Sauce had a little tang with a slight bitterness but all good.

Cheese slice has a great thin crust crust. Very good pizza. Little bit of grease but nothing crazy and good sauce. Tomato pie was great too

A great slice of pizza

Really disappointed given the high average score. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but in an obvious attempt at a crunchy crust it ended up being DRY and over done. The 6.1 is generous since the sauce was good - I almost kept it in the 5.9 range.

The best pizza in Rochester!

The picture doesn’t do it justice. This is the only piece that made it home on my 10 minute drive back from Joe’s Brooklyn Pizza. Best pizza I’ve ever had in my life, no exaggeration.

crust is the right thickness. Not enough sauce. Cheese is good.

Solid NYC style pizza. In fact, better than some of the nonsense being passed off as pizza in NYC these days. The folks who run it are very cool. It’s the same team every time I go there which lends itself to consistency in the pizza. It’s a traditional slice shop with lots of variety. El Presidente should hit this place up next time he’s up for a Bills game or something.
