Dave!! Please come to N.J. and review Joes Pizza. You will LOVE it. The family has been in business for 73 years. Joe (grandson of the original Joe) runs it now and you will love meeting him and talking to him.

Good slice for fans of really thin crust, more cheese than sauce, and a bit of good ol’ Jersey grease. But you know me….

Taste fantastic amd the end crust held up but something happened to the middle of the slice became a mushy blob had no crisp at all and I couldn’t believe it. I imagine a fresh pie eaten there could be amazing but the slice I had was limp and mushy. Stay on top of your staff they let that slice out and it was an embarrassment for your establishment. 7.1 for flavor but to give an overall 6.4 . I am giving benefit of doubt that it was bad timing.

Great pie and crisp. Met Joe the owner and couple locals that have been going there for years. Solid 🍕

A Buffalo chicken thin pan pie. The BCTPP- delicious. It reminds me of Vinnies in Millburn except this place ha 75 years on Vinnie’s in experience. The plain was just as miraculous. Classic joint. Cash only. No Jewel on the radio here.

Fantastic pizza. Fresh, nice structure, just made really well. The owner was awesome, talked with him a bit. Happy to support the family owned places always. If I could, I’d lower my Ralph’s from Nutley score and have to say this is better than Ralph’s for me personally. It’s thinner and lighter. Ralph’s tends to be a little thick sometimes. Just my opinion! Go here!

Drove about 15 to 20 minutes to get here definitely not worth the drive if you’re within walking distance or five minutes driving distance not a bad idea but not worth the drive at all. Also the customer service was absolutely terrible the lady answered the phone with an attitude and when I went in the man at the front desk also had an attitude. Pizza wasn’t bad but definitely not the best I’ve ever had 6.3 is definitely rating it hi

I definitely agree with Dave’s 7.9 score here I wanted to give it an 8 but it’s a rookie score so I didn’t want to copy his score so I went on the higher end- 8.1. Really good pizza.

Came in at 3:30. Bad time for fresh pizza. My Sicilian slice was real good, 7.6 on that.

The closest to perfect pizza as you can get, I would go as far as to say the best bar pie in New Jersey. The cheese-to-sauce ratio is perfect, the crust has this “pan pizza meets bar pizza” hybrid profile that really fits the pizza well, and it’s not dry or too greasy; it’s absolutely perfect and well balanced. Consistency really stands out to me in any pizza and I have yet to find a place as consistent in presentation and flavor as Joe’s Famous Pizza every time I order. I highly recommend.

Thin crust pizza, sauce had a lot of oregano. Major Jersey flop (not crispy at all). Cheese slices were very oily. Meh

Had high hopes after saw this multiple times on the FB page jersey pizza joints. This pie had potential cooked in a pan to perfection with a delicious crust and nice amount of grease the kind were you enjoy it but not overwhelmed. The sauce killed this pie tho not sweet nor tangy it just lacks taste with way too much oregano. Fix the sauce pie would easy be low to mid 8's. On the other hand my brother In law who usually comes with us on our pizza ventures said this was one of the best pies he's ever had.

A taste the seasoning in the sauce. Not much crust. A little greasy in a good way. I wish it had more crust.

Best thin crust in the area not even close. Incredible crust and not too filling.
