Finally got my hands on a famous Joe’s pie. The perfect undercarriage meets cheese sent from the gods. New York I love you.

Review based off the thin margarita, very thin and to my liking but lacked the sauce to give it that tangy push into the 8’s for me. Still quality

A sloppy slice. Maybe we caught them on a busy day. Not much flavor and all flop. Cheese slid off. Plenty of NYC slice options around.

Classic NYC slice. Great cheese. Good undercarriage and sauce. Could honestly be higher if I had gotten a whole pie and not just a slice

Solid all around. Not extremely flavorful. Good sauce but could use more

Joes Pizza! A legendary establishment not only in New York City, but in the entire pizza game, period. Rolling up to this spot was fantastic, people were waking by with slices, and boxes full of pizza from Joes. There was a small crowd waiting to get in, a very nice homeless man directing people into Joes, into the place next door, to the bodega down the street - it was a great NYC scene. Now for the pizza - it was absolutely fantastic! The crust was super thin, had a solid crisp, almost zero flop. There was a nice amount of cheese and it was full of flavor (I have to say I’m genuinely surprised by the amount of pizza places I try that have cheese with little to no flavor) The sauce was probably my favorite part of the pizza - loaded with flavor and it really enhances the overall pizza experience. The pepperoni had great flavor and didn’t leave too much grease on the pizza. We also tried the fresh mozz - it’s fantastic!! This was the first time I’ve had a cheese slice of pizza that I enjoyed more than the pepperoni slice (I always get two - cheese and pepperoni) Bottom line is, you need to try Joe’s! The pizza is spectacular and the overall experience of being there on that corner can’t be beat!

**Although Dave has visited this restaurant, I couldn’t find the location when reviewing. This is for Joe’s Pizza on University Ave in Ann Arbor, MI** Wowww, I’ve been wanting to try Joe’s pizza for awhile now. Definitely lived up to the hype! Perfect crunch, a little bit of flop, and the sauce was tasty! I haven’t had a pizza this good in a long time. You’d be a fan if you found yourself in Ann Arbor during one of MI biggest games of the season, love visiting Dave reviewed places, and are excited to visit Toronto. Solid 8 from me.

this extremely floppy greasy pizza was just okay, sauce was pretty sweet, no idea why they have such high scores
