Pizza Review
Good taste as always. Just needs more sauce.
Pizza Review
Alright Joe’s is a good place. What can I say? I’m glad this place has expanded since the last time I’ve been here too. The owner has done a terrific job with the place and I’m happy for him. So this place has always been in the back of my mind for a little while now because I remembered how much I liked their pizza and it’s pretty good. The crust ratio at the end of the slice is maybe too much crust by slightly. It is very crisp on the bottom and has very little flop. Its just too doughy in my opinion and lacks any really good flavors. It’s got residual flour and that’s about it. It’s just a really “clean” tasting pie I guess and what I mean by that is it’s not soggy and it’s not greasy/oily. It maintains its structural integrity very well. The cheese to sauce ratio is perfect. Now for the cheese and that sauce though, this is where the pizza makes it’s money. The cheese is probably some of the best cheese I’ve ever had on a pizza. I can’t explain it but it just tastes very fresh. The sauce is beyond amazing. I can’t have enough of the sauce. You can taste they really make their sauce with love here. I also ordered a slice of the upside down slice which puts the cheese on the bottom and the sauce on top. I’m glad I ordered that one in particular because it really emphasizes that sauce for me and it gave me another chance to taste it even more. I love it. Their upside slice has become my new favorite slice to get anywhere. My all time favorite and go to is a Margherita slice because they usually emphasize the sauce more on them but that upside down slice can do you wonders. Keep up the good work Joe. You got good pizza and I hope you’re doing alright with business right now with COVID. Merry Christmas!
