Pizza Review
Straight into the review. Worst to best aspects then overview. Vibe: when I pulled up to the location I was extremely confused to see a giant ice cream cone figurine by the entrance. Weird flex but then I walked in only to find out that not only does joe do pizza, he does ice cream as well. Anyways, there isn’t really a vibe here. The place lacks personality in general and there really isn’t any kind of theme here other than the weird ice cream double, which in fact I don’t think I would’ve known that joe served pizza if I hadn’t researched it before hand. Cheese: out of everything about the pizza, I give the lowest rating to the cheese. However, that’s not to say that the cheese was terrible, it actually had a bold taste to it which I appreciate the pop in flavor. However, it could be a bit TOO bold at times and a little overpowering. Too much cheese to sauce. Sauce: the sauce was okay, however, it’s hard to taste behind the cheese. But the parts of the pizza where I was able to taste the sauce it was okay. It has a garlic hint to it which I’m not sure if I can really fully appreciate. Not sure if that’s for me. Crust: there’s some flop here for sure. No doubt about it, but it’s not terrible flop. The crust could have a bit more crunch but the level of crunch is good for what you get. I find that it starts to taste a BIT stale towards the 3rd or 4th slice when everything starts to settle but nothing crazy. This is an above average crust, but nothing too too great. Overall average pie for average place. Would I eat here again? Yeah probably. But this isn’t a pie that I’m dying to have at the end of the work day. The good: -Crust The bad: -business vibes -cheese being too strong
