Dave!! Please come to N.J. and review Joes Pizza. You will LOVE it. The family has been in business for 73 years. Joe (grandson of the original Joe) runs it now and you will love meeting him and talking to him.

Very greasy slice. Not sure how w everyone else scored thos place so high. Was looking forward to tasting it based on good pictures amd great reviews. 4.7 is just based on cheese and the sauce had a decent after taste. Greece was the only thing I can taste here.

Too much cheese for my liking and it got a bit greasy, but it was pretty tasty. Anywhere in the mid-7’s is fair. Cash only spot. Old school.

.....the flop was serious... But the sauce is nice and tangy. Good tasting pizza and I honestly hate most NJ pizza place but this was really solid spot!

It’s a well cooked delicious slice of pizza. The only negative is it’s very greasy.

Great thin pizza, very flavorful and cheesy. Best pizza in the area by far.

Been going to Joes since the early 1960’s. Ordered my standard sausage and onion crispy but not burnt. Flop city😒

Great pie. This is a pan pizza just for the record. So good though. Paper thin. Not a lot of sauce and basically no crust. It’s a light pizza but it’s spot on.

Just tried Joe’s for the first time and wow, am I disappointed. This is the closest thing you will get to counterfeit pizza in the Tri State Area. Seeing reviews such as a 9.9/10 and an 8.6/10 for this place basically makes me sick to my stomach. #ShutThisPlaceDown

THIS is New Jersey’s best pizza by a landslide. When you talk about taste, consistency in presentation/flavor this is practically perfect; almost as if a machine pops these out every 15 minutes. Joes Drive-In Pizza has been doing this for 75 years now and it’s almost become routine to make whip up New Jersey’s best pizza, yet David Portnoy has yet to try this place. No flop! Before coming to Joes, I tried Ralph’s Pizzeria in Nutley (David rated Ralph’s an 8.9) I gave Ralph’s an 8.6, it was good pie; but it wasn’t Joes. Overall consistency and a balance in cheese, sauce, and crust is a make or break for any pizza and that’s where Joes shined against the competition. I’m giving Joes Drive-In a solid well deserved 9.6, the owner by the way is always there working, every single day opening to close. You’d never guess New Jersey’s best Pizzeria is located in Vauxhall, New Jersey; but it is.

Great crisp, little to no flop, the sauce gives it a little tang, good thin crust. If there was a little less grease I would give an 8.4, but I have to go with a solid 8.1.

Joe's has a unique style of cooking pan pizza that leaves an awesome crunch. No plain slices ready today, but cant go wrong with Pep and Sausage.
