Joe’s Pizza

Finished getting some serious tattoo work at Riverside Tattoo for 6+ hours (side note, if you’re looking for American Traditional work in the Boston area go see my boy Max) and was walking back to Harvard Square absolutely starving and came across Joes, mobbed with college kids. Figured I’d pop in for a couple slices as it seemed rather popular and was not disappointed. This is some of the best crust I’ve tasted in the Boston area, but the sauce and cheese left little to be desired. There was a very light amount of sauce and the cheese was pretty run of the mill. I only got slices though, so a fresh pie could be wildly different. Would come back again if I’m in the area (and likely will whenever I’m getting tatted as they’re open late) but wouldn’t go out of my way to get it.
