Pizza Review
Not messy, minimal grease, nice and crispy. If it would have been consistent front to back, we would have had an 8.
Pizza Review
Been awhile... I don't work on the road anymore and if I want pizza, I just make it myself. We live in a food desert. We travel 2 hours to Williamsport a few times a year and when we do, we ALYWAYS go to Joe's East. I always want to try the West End location but we tried the Easter end first and the Hoagies blew my dick off. We have gone to Williamsport just for the Hoagies and to hit up Mr. Stickeys for a half dozen of the Walnut Sticky Buns (they are a 9.5 sticky bun, they don't get any better). The bread used for the Hoagies at Joe's is made from their pizza dough. It's incredible. Soft and chewy. They put a VERY generous amount of meat inside and the sub oil and vinegar... The way they finely shred the lettuce and slice the onions super thin. Fuck it's good. Never tried the pizza out of all the times going because the hoagies are so good I don't even care about the pizza but this time one of our daughters wanted to try pizza, and it didn't disappoint. For the area it's as good as you're gonna get really. If I lived in the neighborhood, I wouldn't need to travel anywhere else. The cheese is a little salty and the sauce is a little sweet which plays well off each other. The dough is constantly being hand tossed by the dudes in the back and it's pretty darn good. Nice chew..not much crisp, but a nice chew and not much flop. The pepperoni could have been a little more evenly dispersed on our half pep pizza, but they were super busy. Love Joe's, and we'll absolutely be back.
