This is the definition of a New York slice: traditional, classic, quintessential NYC pizza. There are several Joe’s locations throughout the city, but this is the original and the best by far. Nothing fancy about it, just straight-forward incredibly delicious & authentic NY pies. The dough isn’t too thick, but not too thin, just terrific crisp. Everything about the sauce and cheese screams pizza flavor. The sauce is sweet, tangy, with just enough bite. This is pizza cheese to a T: amazingly creamy & consistent. The crust is slightly buttery and fantastically crispy. Whether you’re a native New Yorker or a tourist, pretty much everyone can agree Joe’s is the model of consistency in the pizza game: 8.7
