Crust was solid. Good pizza. Not an 8, but I’d walk a half mile for it.

Amazing crisp. Great pizza. Would be 8.3 with a little more seasoning

Amazing pizza, reminds me of home in NJ. An absolute must if you are visiting and want a taste of home. Made a perfect pie even on a busy night dealing with tourists and drunk people.

Damned Good. Thin. Authentic nyc street pizza. A bit sweet, but that’s not bad.

1 cheese slice, 1:30pm on a Mother’s Day, $4 Pros - Stiff slice here, no California flop. This tasted like it was made in the Bronx. Real deal Holyfield. Cons - I got a reheated slice so it possibly could have been better if fresh. The several minute reheat likely firmed up the undercarriage but I’m not mad at it, it tasted fresh as hell still Verdict - This is the spot, folks. I tried Apollonia’s which was almost as good and Vito’s wasn’t anywhere near it. Still haven’t tried Prime or Elio’s street pie but Joe’s Pizza is like an East Coast oasis in Santa Monica

Crispy crust, excellent sauce. Came with my buddy Dave Portnoy, glad I did.

I agree with Dave on the 8.3 but I gotta go higher because wits the best pizza I ever had. I drove 70 miles to try it, and then drove another 70 miles to have it again, and taking my brother next week to try again. I laughed When I took my first bite it was so good.

Absolutely no flop, great undercarriage, elite crisp. Would 100% come back here. None of that organic acai boba milk tea Santa Monica BS. This is the real deal NY stuff. 8.3. That’s a review
