1 cheese slice, 1:30pm on a Mother’s Day, $4 Pros - Stiff slice here, no California flop. This tasted like it was made in the Bronx. Real deal Holyfield. Cons - I got a reheated slice so it possibly could have been better if fresh. The several minute reheat likely firmed up the undercarriage but I’m not mad at it, it tasted fresh as hell still Verdict - This is the spot, folks. I tried Apollonia’s which was almost as good and Vito’s wasn’t anywhere near it. Still haven’t tried Prime or Elio’s street pie but Joe’s Pizza is like an East Coast oasis in Santa Monica

Friendly staff, good price for slice. Good crunch, sauce was good. End was very floppy and greasy. But it was still really good.

Missing a little taste, and a little hard for my liking. Both slices had a bit of a unique sweet flavor. Solid ass pie!

Cheated and got pepperoni, but it was worth it, excellent pizza, some crisp missing due to me walking to pick up, still better than anything in Lake Charles, LA.

Pizza was great, very crisp and thin. Sauce could’ve been a bit better but overall no flop and good undercarriage! I didn’t like the char on the pizza but still a good slice enjoyed it very much.

The cheese and sauce are amazing with this slice. The crust is pretty standard and gets very crunchy and hard. I’d get another slice here for sure
