sauce is so goood, lots of flavor. could’ve had a little more cheese and wasn’t super hot, but that could just be because i took too long to pick it up. crust was good, but had a little too much excess flour— not a huge fan of that. but, joey d’s is always a super nostalgic, go-to spot.

Molten lava hot. Crispy... my mouth can’t tell you what it tastes like but I still like it.

Not impressed. Only good thing about this slice was the nice crunch on the crust. Sauce had no flavor.

Kind of a greasy pie, very doughy. Some slices have a lot of flop. Your better off getting a Sicilian pie that's a 10/10.

A lot of flop on this slice. Really doughy so not any crunch. Sauce to cheese ratio is really good and sauce and cheese taste really good. Definitely better to get sicilian here.

No flop for a football slice. Crust was nicely crispy. Unfortunately it is lacking on flavor. Something is definitely missing. A little too bland with a slight sweetness. Came here because it was the only place averaging over an 8 with a few scores under the belt. Not bad pizza, just not worth a drive.

This is a ChildHood favorite pizza place of mine.That being said as unbiased as I can be, the pizza here is phenomenal, thin crust classic style is crispy, tangy and very good. I prefer the thick crust buffalo chicken specialty slices, I think these slices could be some of the best in the world in my opinion. Enjoy!

High quality football slice. Would recommend for anyone. Full service deli and other things . Place was nice and crowded and can tell everything is what you expect from a NJ pizzeria and than some. Sauce and cheese very good. Crispy crust and very little flop which I like.
