Good pizza it tastes a lot like a Bertucci’s pizza. A little on the doughy side. A good olive oil drizzle could bring this pie into the 7’s. More sauce would of been welcomed. Very cool triple wood burning oven setup.

I really miss this place and am still beside myself that they closed but personally, the absolute best experience eating a slice of simple cheese pizza i’ve had anywhere. The sicilian was a 9.5 in my book. The family was entertaining to watch and always made it worth the wait when lines were long. The flavor was outstanding.

I’ve been saving this photo for a while. This is the last review for Joey’s House of Pizza. They decided to close not from enough business but because they had too much. They wanted to go into the “hospitality business”. And then the word is they’re going into the full-time catering business for a high-end clientele. You had a good run joey. Been open since 1999. And it’s really made great pizza for people in Nashville. They decided to behead themselves as the king of Nashville Pizza. Good luck guys.

Unbelievable flavor, with a perfect crisp

Absolutely fantastic

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced flavors, the added fresh mozz is a nice touch. Beautifully seasoned too. The family is always nice and pays attention to everyone even when they’re slammed (be prepared to wait, it’s worth it). Excellent lasagna and cannolis too.

Honestly, one of the best slices I’ve ever had in my life! By far the best seasoned pizza I’ve ever had, with a fantastic inclusion of bits of fresh mozzarella. Crust was perfectly crunchy (almost no flop). Definitely will be dreaming of this slice for years to come!

Had two pepperoni and Buddy got the gladiator. I wanted to try the Sicilian - but have to call ahead. Pizza was great w the fresh mozzarella and crunchy crust. Very happy to have tried the best in Nashville!

Best Pizza I have had to date!! Taste was amazing, had crunch all the way, no flop, and the fresh mozzarella is outstanding!!! Highly recommend you try if in the area. Plus the lady cooking the pizza is running around like a crazy person which is worth it to see for yourself!! Get a Cheese and a Sicilian can’t go wrong!!!
