Joey's pizza of Hamilton, Hamilton NJ. Large pie with sausage. Fantastic! Very fresh unique. Maruca's style pizza. One of the very best in the area.

Pre bite consideration-looked like it was sitting nine years. Eye test- killer, looks legit Taste is pretty good. Great sauce. Ratio is perfect. Bottom line, they burned themselves with pizza from the Lincoln administration. Dough was utterly void of crisp and soft as a baby’s butt. The crust just ruined the experience. Tragedy. Easily in the upper Sevens or even eights I’m guessing if fresh.

Good, Not Bad Not a crispy pizza. Pizza soft no char on bottom. Not my Style. If you like soft crust this is your spot.

Still my all time favorite

Very good Boardwalk Style Pizza. The pizza has a nice tang, a good crisp, and minimal to no flop.

Somewhere in between regular pizza and Trenton tomato pie, Joey’s never ceases to amaze. Maybe it’s the sweet sauce; maybe it’s the cheese (which I’ve always guessed includes cheddar). Whatever it is, Joey’s is as close as it gets to a utopian pie.

Decent local pie.

Very good plain pizza.

For me, this is my favorite pizza of all time. The sauce is sweet and the cheese compliments it. Has a nice crisp bite to it with very little flop and grease.

Quality ingredients, crispy crust with a little bit of chew to it. Always consistent. Solid pie.

decent football pizza. pretty soft but it was tomato pie so it went over well. want to try it fresh and not delivered next time.

Great crust.... less cheese though more sauce but great crunch.

Their plain slice is a good take on the tomato pie. Great sauce, fairly thin and crispy. A really nice painting of Venice covers their wall in the dining area. A little disappointed that the bathroom ran out of paper towels, but overall a solid experience at a classic tomato pie restaurant.

Pepperoni tomato pie. This is common in the Hamilton/Trenton area. The crust, cheese, and pepperoni were better than average. The sauce dominates the pizza and is simple, fresh, but lacks flavor. I’m used to NY style pizza, so I’m biased against these tomato pies. I’m putting my biases aside and giving it a fair 6.1. Serviceable. Gets the job done if you’re hungry.
