Joey's Pizza

Traveled here from Berks County based on the reviews. Had a good crisp but wasn’t unique. Wouldn’t drive again for it but would get again if it was local.

Best pizza in Chester County. The Margherita is amazing and their sandwiches are also the best around. Good quality ingredients!

Very, very good pizza. Thin and crispy. Drove an hour from DELCO for this. Well worth the trip!

In terms of the overall pizza picture in the tri-county area (Berks, Lancaster, Chester), Joey’s in Thorndale is special. Outrageously good pie. Picture says it all. Great crust, great crisp, great sauce, tight cheese. If the crust was just a liiittle bit lighter, and just 20-30 seconds less done, literally, it would probably be in the 9 club. Still, outrageously good.

I was really excited to try this after seeing the high scores people were leaving. Picked it up after work and immediately ate a slice. The slice flopped, the undercarriage was tough and the crust was hard as a rock. To be fair the taste was good but with the toughness it didn’t redeem it enough overall. One bright spot was the cheesesteak I got was fantastic with a great sesame roll.

As great as any of the heavy hitters. Zero flop, great under carriage, strong crisp, fresh ingredients. The flavor is there. “This is why you get into the pizza game.”

This place is apparently under new ownership, and it has vastly improved. Best pizza in the area now.

Amazing pizza and cheesesteaks

This is the pizza!! We drove 2 hours for this and I’d make my husband do it again.

Got the plain pie with basil, this pizza can compete with any of the big dogs in nyc, new haven, or new jersey. Everything about this pizza is great the sauce, the cheese, and the crust. Chose this instead of Angelos in Philly and im glad i did.

Good pizza, good people...... I’ll be back on my next trip out this way.

Great sauce flavor and tremendous crisp to the crust, definitely a good pie and repeat visit if I lived closer. My only complaint would be how greasy the pie was, literally dripping. Also, I prefer a little more cheese.

No idea what Joey’s is doing, but it’s working. Best pizza in Chester county by a mile. Love the char, great quality cheese, flavorful sauce, no flop.

1st of all I’m new on here so didn’t realize i needed to upload a pic for the review. In this picture the pizza was like 90mins old, so take that into consideration. Born and raised new yorker living out here in pennsylvania, this place is best in the state. I gave it 1 tick higher than el pres gave angelos bc Joeys is better. For all you medigon humps put there giving it 8’s you probably wiped your ass bare handed up until a few years ago.

Wow. Hands down some of the best pizza in Chester county. Great crisp. Great sauce. Amazing under carriage.
