Pizza Review
This is a very traditional, well-balanced pie. Minimal flop, soft dough, crispier around the crust with solid crunch, a lot to like about the basic composition. The cheese is uniquely sharp & tasty with lots of bite, it definitely cuts through the taste of the dough & sauce. A little too much grease in some areas of the pie clashes with the flavor of the cheese a bit, but it’s fairly manageable if you sop it up. Really good zip and zest on the sauce, compliments the cheese almost perfectly. The ingredients all come together in a very delicious, old school way. This pie may look somewhat generic but it’s incredibly solid and one of the better options in Stamford, CT. Not a travel pizza but well worth a try if you’re local or in the area.
