Johnny Brusco's New York Style Pizza

Very bland and basic pizza. Reminds me of something you would get from a cafeteria or buffet. Excessive cheese, basic marinara type of sauce, dough has good taste but zero crisp. I know it’s a chain, but even for chain pizza it’s very very basic.

Southern chain with a New York name. Pizza is heavy with cheese, not my preference. Ordered it crisp, better than expected based on the reviews.

As a Brooklyn boy of 40 years I can tell that they are NY style but no where near NY pizza.

Nice looking pie. Good taste fairly good crisp from point to crust. The first few bites I thought it was missing something I added a pinch of salt at that did the trick. A little less sauce would of been better. Out of the 6 places I visited in NC this was the best. I have one more day here in NC and I already know where I’m going next. Don’t pass Johnny Bs up it’s well worth it. Solid slice for the area. 🍕

Decent for N.C./ new York Pizza... A little strange inside. More of a restaurant setting than a pizza place to me. Sauce and cheese are decent. Plenty of cheese and sauce. not bad but it does not crack the top five in Mooresville...

Really good slice. Good mix of the cheese and marinara. Marinara is also really fresh. Good firmness. Crust lets it down a bit

Damn nice crust for a non brick oven.flash cooked, nice crunch! Not crazy over sauce. Cheese ok. Pep uncured and spicy. Solid slice.

My first review on One Bite. Crust had a nice crisp to it but lacked flavor. Sauce had a tang but not a distinguished spice flavor. Cheese was greasy and no substance.
