Johnny G’s Famous Pizza & Tomato Pies

Hate to shit on such a new place but this was totally reminiscent of ice rink snack-bar pizza. Sauce was okay but the cheese was very cheap and the crust was greek style. You have to go out of your way to make a cheap pizza like this. $7.00 for 2 slices and a soda. Get what you pay for. Says it won best of Philly on the window. Must’ve been from some random syndicate lol

Good sweet sauce and crust has great crunch!

Great looking pizza. Sauce and cheese were good. Crust was where this was off. Great menu. Cheesesteaks are absolutely “off the hook”. Cheesesteaks 8.6!!

Stopped by because I was on the run and missed lunch. It caught my eye because it was literally right next door to another Italian shop.... pizza was really good.

So, the plain normal slice was ok. I would say it was a 8.1 decent flavor with extremely crisp good crust. The square pie, that’s their money right there that would have been a 9.1 delicious flavor and tremendous crisp. So I split the difference. Kudos to hiring the very cute brunette counter girl and thanks for the dunkaroos from the sweet blonde counter girl

This is the best tomato pie I have ever had! Amazing sauce..massive flop but the sauce and crust and seasoning make it so good!

Alright...so unfortunately...sometimes... ordering will really kill a pie’s potential and tonight... that was the case. It took damn near forever to get this pie to my door and let’s just say it was far from hot/warm. Despite the wait... the pizza and how it’s built showed some promise. It’s a bit of a different style...meaning it’s not super thin... but slightly thicker than I typically see. The sauce is very sweet (not a bad thing) and the cheese compliments it well. The crust is very light and airy... but IMO, lacked a bit of flavor. I wish I couldn’t factor in the delivery and wait... but as we all know... the longer you wait in that cardboard box... the less likely it will be great. That’s a review.

Sweet sauce which I'm a fan of, also plenty of sauce which I'm a fan of. Nice crust. Surprisingly good, dont let the location scare you.
