Johnny Longhots

Plain slice, no flop, very very good flavor in the cheese an sauce. Crust left a bit to be desired. Overall very solid slice

“Grandma Style Pie” at Johnny Longhots. Very good, 1 of 3 locations. Pie is very good. Square but is thin crust and cheesy with a splash of sauce through out the pie. Cooked well with a good crunch. Cheesesteak was also phenomenal.

I ordered two slices of pizza today. The original plain slice (score shown) and a slice of grandma’s. The New York plain slice was as expected. Pretty good. Perfect cheese to sauce ratio and the underside was cooked just right. No flop and a crunch on every bite. Only draw back is I wish the sauce had just a bit more flavor. Now onto the grandma slice, it was good just not a wow like I’ve had before. A little less cheese would have made the grandma’s sauce stand out more.

Not bad for being almost in Philly, I’ve had a lot of NY Pizza and this comes close.

Good pizza. Great taste to the cheese and sauce but very standard.

Appearance is good. Cheese doesn’t fall off, which is good too but could also mean not quality cheese. Sauce is average. Thin slices with a thick crust. Pizza can be folded. Good size for the price.
