Johnny Pies NY Pizzeria

Plain pie Johnny’s is the closest to the pizza I grew up on on Long Island. A true NewYork style pizza.

Plain slice is best around SOFL but the meatball parm deluxe is 9 for sure b

The cheese was a bit chewy. Also the sauce had a little too much salt for me.

Glad I found this place. Pizza exceeded my expectations which is hard to do. I’d say its top 3 in Broward County. Seemed to get better with every bite. I give it a 8.2 but I’m going to bump it a couple points to offset the couple lower scores it has. This place will be in my regular rotation going forward!

Alright folks I found my new favorite in South Florida, JOHNNY PIES. I've been back a few days to Clearwater but wanted to share my finding in Coconut Creek. 1. Some pretty high rating on the one bite pizza app. Many good places seem to get a bum rap sometimes by those reviewer's, but not here. 2. The sign in the picture shows they use grande cheese, one of the tastiest, thickest, and good textured cheeses in the business. 3. Sauce a bit sweet and is the most flavorful I have had in a while! 4. My rating, a solid, 8.6 ( so much for people saying that Florida has second rate pizza)

Perfect amount of cheese and sauce. Sauce was delicious. Crust was crispy...zero flop.

Ignore previous review score because of phone issue. Nice staff and atmosphere! Good tang to sauce, but a little loose. Excellent cheese spec!

Placed an order over phone guy said 25 min, I show up in 20 just incase (I like my pizza blazing hot out of the oven). Waited 25 minutes on top of the 20 Minutes it took me to get here. Pizza is a grease fest, ingredients are pretty good. The crisp is the only thing saving this pie. Well cooked that’s about it

Masterful upside down slice.. or what we Pizza Junkies know as the right way to make pizza.. Cheese on crust first to not seal the sauce in between to make crust soggy.. Called Jonny Pies to order for the office and I asked the guy if he could make the pies this way.. he said YUP!! I’m glad he did.. took an ordinary football slice from a 7.9 to a solid 9.. I took a picture of the pepperoni pie.. because that’s the way I like it.. well done with little nickel size peps curling up to the sky.. Jonny Pies has incredible sauce and crust.. Pizza was a Home Run.. The Pizza General Likes A Lot!!

Johnny Pies, one bite 8.0, great ny style pizza, almost no flop, lightly salty & sweet crispy crust, cheese to sauce ratio spot on! Great pie found in Coconut Creek. A must try!
