Sauce was excellent but due to the drive home the dough wasn’t as crispy as it would be if eaten right away.

Best crisp I’ve had on a pizza so far, consistent throughout. Flavors were amazing too. Number one in my book right now.

I got there at 9:45. I ordered at 9:30. I live less than 5 min drive from the joint. I’ve can die and to heaven knowing I’ve tried one of the top 5 pizzas in my lifetime. I rank with Difara and Johns of Bleeker category. The cheese is just right with some sauce on top of the cheese. Best eaten right away piping hot burning the roof of your mouth. Best Pizzeria in all of westchester county

I wasn't thrilled when I first saw it but looks can be deceiving! Absolutely delicious. Super thin. Super crisp. Perfect amount of sauce and cheese and flavor on point. I'm a fan. Husband gives it an 8.6.

Listen...I'm all about being fair. And I am very open minded when it comes to pizza since I eat any pizza you throw at me...this place has a lot of hype. I got there at 12:15. 15 minutes before they opened, and there was a line outside. The first guy in line drove 3 hrs to get there and he told me that he thought that Johnny's was the best pizza in the entire country..bold statement. I'm gonna say this. Very different style of pizza then I'm used. It's a mind fuck because it was so different and so thin. When you got to the sauce and cheese you had an explosion in your mouth, but there was not much sauce or cheese on this pizza. I'm guessing it because the pizza is so thin they can't afford the risk of the extra weight on top. But, when you hit these ingredients they were very good. I would not travel 3 hrs for this pizza, but since it is a local spot, I am definitely thirsty for more. I feel like if it had pepperoni or some other topping it would have been a 9 for me. But overall great, and different pizza. The End.

Second to only Di Fara’s Brooklyn & just ahead of John’s of Bleecker! Cooked to perfection, the crunch, the sauce! Amazing.

Pizza was pretty good but I expected a little more with all of the hype. Good crust, mellow on the sauce and cheese. Don’t need to go out of my way to come back but good if I’m in the area.

8.7 and Portnoy gave it a 9.1. Crispy, thin, not cheesy...I loved it, but based on el Presidente I xpected more.

Johnny's Pizzeria by far has some of the best pizza I've ever had in my life. I grew up in Brooklyn with places life DiFara's but my mother-in-law grew up and lived upstairs from Johnny's original location in Mt.Vernon. I had the pizza for the first time last night and it was amazing.

High expectations coming in - did not disappoint per se but not as much cheese as I would’ve liked - but all in all a quality thin sliced old school pizza!

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The crisp, the tang in the sauce, cheese and dough all superior. Worth the drive and the long wait for the pizza.

I’ve had em all. This is hard #1. It doesn’t get better. Gets cold quick so eat there immediately. Can’t imagine a better bite. Crispiest all t, and the black pepper is a game changer.

Excellent pizza... very sauce-forward (tangy) and a great, thin, crispy crust... very very light cheese, but the combined flavors compensate... travel-worthy... a must for pizza freaks
