Lived up to expectation — tried stopping here a few times prior, but they were either on vacation or we had stopped on a Monday, as they’re closed Mondays. Also ordered a mushroom/onion pie, and was just as good, if not, better, than the plain. Both pies, however were crispy, flavorful, and had great homemade sauce distribution. One final note, if you’re in the area, there’s a place called SouzaFit just up the street. They have a smoothie called “Godzilla” that’s unquestionably a 9.3. I live in Tuckahoe and will most certainly be back to Johnny’s.

One of the mecca’s of NY pizza, Johnny’s is tucked away in a small parking lot but packs a lot of punch. Slices had a little bit of flop but somehow probably the crispiest slice I’ve ever had. Marinara is superb, but wish there was a bit more cheese and less oil. Still a phenomenal slice, highly worth the trek. That’s a fucking review Franklyn!!

Incredible pie!!! Cooked to perfection. Every ingredient blends in so well together. One of the best pizzerias in all of NY.

As usual a crazy adventure to get here but ate in this time even tho I love eating out. Even better then last time crazy tasty crispy crust and oh that buttery flavor. Stringy tasty cheese garlicky plentiful sauce, really one of if not most complete pies, each ingredient complimenting each other and the place itself is timeless and friendly people:)

Drove 45 minutes to go for lunch. Got the house salad and half pepperoni/ half plain. Delicious and worth the ride.
