Retro review 12/19. Obviously it lives up to the hype, all around amazing slice. Also pulled the veteran move and ate it with a fork and knife

Drove in to nyc from NJ for our favorite pizza in NYC! One pie done before we even made it out of the holland tunnel! Ty John’s! See you soon!

Great pizza and calzone. Pepperoni is definitely better then the plain cheese but it’s all about the crust here. No flop, great crunch, perfect amount of char, and yet still has body and a nice chewiness. Calzones are also good.

John’s of Bleecker has an amazing coal fired pie! The best slice of pizza I’ve had in Manhattan thus far.

The best pizza I’ve ever had. If anything could be improved on at all it’s the crust being a tad thinner...but that would have made it a 10. This is an impossible pizza to beat. I’ve had Lazarras and Mister 01 and those are great but not Johns.
