Perfect soss to cheese ratio, ANAZING FRESH SOSS, but the crust did not do it for me. I appreciate that I didn’t have to shit myself after.

as of 4/22/21 this is the best pizza I have ever had. the sauce is so damn fresh. and the cheese to sauce ratio is magical. don’t bother getting anything other than a straight up cheese pizza. do like daddy dave does. also I appreciate the grunge on the aesthetic. anyways, stop wasting your time and come here.

I work in the South Bronx and live in NJ but that doesn’t stop me from grabbing a pie or 2 after work and hitting the Lincoln tunnel. I usually eat one pie driving home. The coal fire taste is unique. The cheese and sauce are amazing. Absolute best I’ve had so far. Plain pie is the way to go.

Excellent cheese, really really good sauce. The way it was cooked well done near perfect. Little bit more zing in the sauce I think I’d agree with Dave. I think I agree more with the app score. Ny suprema/sallys in new Haven slightly better IMO.

My 210 review and I was so excited for Johns. I was pretty disappointed they don’t sell slices and had to buy a medium for $21.00 and for that I have to deduct. I would have gave them a 9.3 on taste. It is a great tasting pizza soup to nuts it has everything as advertised but the cheese slide off my first slice didn’t like that. But it was right out of the oven so ..oh well

Best two things about this pizza were the sauce and the crust. The sauce was perfectly sweet the way I like it. The crust was cooked pretty well done and had a tiny bit of char to it which made for a great blend of flavors. Pepperonis were also incredible on the slice I had. They had a nice crunch and were full of flavor.

Tomato chunks were sweet. Not my style but very good. Personally enjoyed the pepperoni and ricotta half better.

Sometimes words can’t describe why a pizzas an 8.5. John’s of bleecker street is an 8.5. The combination of the cheese and dough providing a lasting taste. The sauce or lack thereof limits the potential for the slice but still scores well.
