One Bite Fest baby slice, this was near too small to judge them on.
Definitely see why Portnoy likes them, tangy acidic sauce but not some much to the point that it’s tart, thin, crispy, crunchy the whole way through. Not chewy, barely much of a cornicione. It’s got fresh mozzarella and sauce on top. Of course, it’s well done bordering on crunchy crust.
I think it was very good. It’s must-try. If I had no idea who this was though, it wouldn’t be a 9. This is some of the best non-artisan crust you’re gonna get. Expect a well executed, straight old school coal fired New York pie.
