Undercarriage and crisp perfect, reminds me of Johnnys in Mt Vernon. Crust great, cheese excellent. Only lacking is sauce, needs more flavor

Best pizza I’ve ever had! Next time I’m going straight up cheese. The pepperoni was fine but the pizza was better without it. Amazing pizza! Lives up to the hype!

Tied with Sally’s in New Haven very different pizza . Amazing cheese best I ever had . Terrific crust . Sauce and pepperoni were not as good as Sally’s . Arguably best pizza America and New York .

The best pizza I’ve ever had. everything was great about it except for the flop but I don’t care.

Ordered a cheese and a pepperoni. Line wasn’t too long to sit down and moved quickly. Waited about 15 minutes to get in. Cool place and great pizza. Must try.

This was a pizza masterclass. Their dough is the greatest thing I’ve ever had. It was the perfect mix of crispy while also having a bit of chew and fluffiness and not having too much of a char flavor. Their sauce and cheese ratio was perfect. The only complaint is it was maybe a little bit too simple. A bit of extra flavor would make this pizza a perfect slice

In town for work and made it a point to come to John’s before I left. Blew my mind, thought I had tried great pizza but I was wrong! A+ Crust, A+ Sauce and A+ Toppings. Only reason it’s not a 10 is there might be a better pizza out there that I haven’t found yet

Good sauce and cheese, good crust. Minimal flop, and the char on the crust gives a lot of flavor. The atmosphere inside is great.

Taste was (somewhat) there but crisp was nowhere to be found. Overall, disappointing considering the hype. Thankfully didn’t wait too long (~20 min on a Wednesday night) or else this score would’ve been lower.

Solid pie, gotta stick with the classics and go cheese. Sauce has a good tang to it and the crust had a nice char. Limited seating might have to wait but they move quick and cost is super affordable for NY
