Awesome environment, friendly staff, very high prices. Minimal flop good crunch, cheese was eh, sauce was semi sweet. Bit overrated but I liked it

Brought the fam out to try some real NY pizza and it did not disappoint. Fresh sauce with the right kick, good quality cheese that isn’t overly salty and a good crisp. A little wet but otherwise damn good

The flavor was great and I would go back again. If it was cooked a little bit longer I would have scored it a lot higher.

Taste similar to johns of bleeker but had a horrible flop. Crust was a little off but it tasted good for time square pizza.

It turns out that this lives up to the hype, very tasty thin bar style pizza, cracks the 8s

Right up there with other Johns. If I was local to NYC I’d be in troubles. Everything was great Pizza was incredible

Pizza Backlog 13 | 8/27/2022 | I’ve said on this very app that it would be tough for another NYC pizza place to beat John’s of Bleecker Street. And even though I remain correct, John’s of Times Square came damn close. Theirs is also a thin pie with crispy crust and sauce on the always-welcome sweet/tangy side. The only things keeping me from giving it a score in the 9s: (1) a little too much cheese for my optimal experience and (2) the non-crust parts were a little chewy. Both of these are mere quibbles on a fantastic pie.

A ton of cheese, so best consume it while it is hot lest you encounter some undesirable coagulation; sauce was okay but it could have elevated this score if it possessed some tang/zing; undercarriage/crust was crispy on the edge, yet the tip was a sloppy dangler; less than ideal on the form as the slices broke apart upon extract (drippy); dough was tres fresh with a buttery hue; an enigma; overall pretty good; side note - great service and nice atmosphere.

Classic NYC slice. Great flop, solid sauce, and good crisp. Great atmosphere as the ceiling calls for God’s pizza. Down side too many tourists
