JoJo's Pizza & Pasta Upper Allen

Something ain’t right. But bad pizza is still better than I can make at home. So there is that. Dave’s 4.5 score is spot on.

Really flavorful slice,but seemingly undercooked. It’s super floppy and has very little crisp on the Cornicione. Sauce has a garlic touch and both the cheese and the dough have great flavor.

Can’t compare to Pizzatown across the street. Not even a competition, it’s like NCAA vs NFL. Go across the street to pizza town if you want a solid slice.

One of the most bland pizzas you will ever taste. Their barbecue chicken pizza tastes like something my 2 year old could make with a box of lunchables. If you’re looking for a place to spend lots of money and eat something equivalent to shoe leather, this is your place. If you’ve made it this far, you should travel the extra .1 miles and go to Pizzatown instead. You will not regret it!

Doughy crust that had a lot of chew, sauce had a nice mild flavor to it. More than average flop and more than average grease. Served its purpose during a fantasy football draft party.

I’m left wanting more. The Jojo’s name is a staple in Mechanicsburg, but I’ll be honest, it feels like they rushed the pie out to me. It was undercooked, super floppy, and lacked crisp in many areas. The crust was super doughy, reminding me of a Olive Garden breadstick, but not much flavor. The sauce was decent, and generic Italian food service cheese layered on top was salty and bland.

Nice flop. No crisp. Sauce has good flavor. Would make a good football pizza.
