It doesn’t get much better than this. A superior classic New York slice and a must try for real pizza people

So, they say this is where the Grandma slice began. I’ve avoided eating any in Brooklyn shops because it always looks awful. A co-worker urged me to try this restaurant and the Grandma slice is pure heaven.

Wasn’t crazy about the mozz, sauce wasn’t bad but dough was pretty good. Nice and crisp and a little char.

Vodka sauce slice is as good as they come. So unique. Bougie spice is genius. Gold Star pizza here folks.

Metro all the way!!! If your stopping by, you gotta have the metro slice. Seems like everyone was ordering it and I can see why. Artisanal slice that has shades of a Sicilian and grandma slice. Very tasty, sauce is on the money and also crunchy when it comes to the crust. Try to get a well done slice and a corner for flute extra crunch. The regular slice really didn’t do it for me and hence the lower score. It was very greasy, no flop and a little over cooked. Go Metro here every time!!

Dave was very accurate about this place. This restaurant is near where I live and I love it.

Large variety of slices and would def try more things as you can tell they know their pizza. The sauce was good but didn't have the flavor bomb to separate itself.

Great pie. If it had a little more sauce it would have gotten over an 8.0. Good crisp crust, sauce had great spice and the cheese was perfect.

Slightly thicker crust with no flop. Not too much cheese and a really great sauce. Not as crazy about the broccoli rabe grandma’s slice.

This is my kind of pizza. Doughy crust, little crispy not crunchy.

Got a plain pie and ate it at home. It did get a little bent out of shape due to the car ride despite our best efforts, but nevertheless, the highlight of their pie for me is the sauce. It has a nice creamy tomato sauce that feels like it has a presence on the pie and isn't just there out of necessity like some other pizzas. The cheese is good and in healthy proportion to the rest of the slice, which is thin-sliced, Manhattan style. The pie has good seasoning, however, I think they could be a little more generous with the herbs as that's what really makes a pie go from good to great oftentimes and this one has some, but more on the minimalistic side. It has good undercarriage with only slight flop, however that was likely because of the steaming which occurred in the box. The crust is very crispy and tastes fine, not very dry either and generally gets the job done well but doesn't stand out too much either. Overall, a great place to get pizza on LI and if you go, you should definitely eat it as soon as you can for the best experience. I very much recommend it if you are in the area and looking for better pizza.

Wow, best Grandma slice ever! (Crunchy, tasty delicious. Their regular slice is good too at 8.1.
