Kingy’s is my wife’s favorite pizza. When we lived in Pickerington we’d go there at least once a week. It’s a good pizza. For me, something about the flavor makes me stop after a couple slices. Quality ingredients, but something about the specific mixture starts to wear on my pallet after a couple slices. I can’t put my finger on it, but I lean toward the pep. The cheese is excellent and plentiful, the sauce is well done, the crust is thin and crackery. All this should ad up to perfection, but there’s something that lurks in the background. My wife would give it at least an 8.5, I give it a 7.2. Better than average, but not excellent. Her and I fight between Kingy’s or Grapevine every time we’re in town. The subs and wings are above average as well.
