Koronet Pizza

The Koronet on Broadway by W 110th has a special place in my heart, so I was pleased when I learned they opened a location on the East side. With that being said, it's not as good as the other location but don't let that deter your next visit. The jumbo slice is an experience, not just a slice of pizza.

Good cheese, crust could be crispier on the bottom and tomato sauce is a little too sweet… overall a decent slice

This was a mid 6 for me until I tried the crust. Crust is tasty with good crunch. Thin slice w/ no flop & a crispy under carriage. Cheese has a good texture & a nice sauce. Interestingly I liked it a little more as it cooled. I could see this scored as high as a 7.2, for me it’s a 6.8 🎤

More gimicy with the huge slice that is 3 regular slices

It’s was very average. Luckily I didn’t go with the giant slice. It was a hearty slice but the thick crust was a little raw in the middle. Not much flavor.

There’s just something about a jumbo slice that makes it that much better than a few regular sized ones...I can’t really explain it. Is it the extra ingredients used in the process? The personal excitement I get from seeing a mammoth of a pie waiting to be devoured? I’m not quite sure. But what I am sure about is that this slice was prettay, prettay good. Hate to use a round # but a 7.0 is the perfect score. Good sauce to cheese ratio, crunch could’ve been a bit better (though crust made up for that). Lets just say I’m officially on the jumbo slice train. *MTA card used for scaling purposes

A glorified $1 pizza slice. The only good thing about this slice is that the undercarriage is well done. Besides that nothing good about it.

Something just wasn’t right!!! The cheese seemed good, but sauce was a little light. Crust was good on bottom , but the outer crust was soft.
