Unique. Saucy. Delicious. Pillowy texture with some crunch. A drop too sweet for my liking but I grew up eating this pizza and it's in my top 3. Crave worthy! I ate 4 of these.

This legendary saucy Square sets the standard for the category. Nice crispy bottom, tasty tomato goodness, tender crust. Others (Brooklyn Square, GiGi’s, Bruno’s) may now do it better, but all owe a debt of gratitude to L&B!

Leaves something to be desired. Cheese and sauce was delicious, just something missing

Franklyn, I really wanted to like this pizza because Spumoni’s is a heralded institution, but boy did this miss the mark. While the regular round pie is the gold standard, I felt with the history of this place, I would do a disservice to not try their Sicilian, especially considering Dave gave it a high 7. But honestly, this pie didn’t satisfy. Parts of the dough were still a bit raw, which is a huge no-no, so that really pulls it down for me. Secondly, while I was aware that they weren’t going to be decadent with the cheese, i really wish they put more on it. The marinara is the saving grace for this not being lower than a 6, but I don’t know, maybe i caught them on a bad day? I want to believe that Spumoni’s is a great slice but this pie just didn’t do it for me. Nonetheless Franklyn, that’s a fucking review.

First time I had an L&B slice was in the 1960's..It definitely wasen't as good as back in the day...The bottom was to doughy for my taste.. The sauce was very good if they only would of cooked it some more it would of been near that 7.9/8.1 range but this slice missed the mark..

Its still a fairly good 🍕 slice. Growing up here in the 70s to 90s, the round slice was better before. The crust not very crispy, and much doughier than in past. The sauce is still fairly good, but theres better guys. Not bad but a shadow of its former self. Meh.

I’m generally not a huge square fan but like Brooklyn square in Jackson NJ this number brings the fluff. When you sink your teeth in it decompresses in your mouth like an air foam mattress of pizza goodness. Sensational sauce as well. The Mozz sticks were horrendous though. They smelled like old calculator buttons and tasted just as bad.

Best Square Pizza in the tri state area. Dave got the regular which is why his score was so undervalued. If you ever visit this place you MUST get the square!!!

I'm giving it a high rating because it is the only pizza like it. Yes it is thick sicilian with the chesse underneath and the sauce on top. I usially go for NY classic thin crust but every once in a while there is nothing like Spumoni gardens. Get yourself a quart of spumoni while your here!

Sicilian slice: doesn’t look like there’s cheese, but it is sandwich between 2 layers of sauce; sauce has a nice sweet flavor, but not overwhelming; cheese complements it well; crust was decently crunchy, but could’ve been quite a bit crispier, wasn’t much of a seat anywhere, perhaps a hotter oven would help?; otherwise, great slice, pleasantly surprised

Really good and slightly on the sweeter side. Too bad we had to eat outside in the freezing cold. Regular pizza gets a 7.6.

grab 3 friends, order a half pie and try to tell me it’s not a good pizza? consistent quality- taste, service, always worth the trip

Had only the square pie. It was OK. Sauce is the dominant flavor and is good. Crust lacks flavor and cheese is very much a secondary flavor. Fine pizza, but overhyped.
