La Dona Italian Cuisine & Pizzeria

Think I may have been to this place back before it was La Dona. Don't remember it being great under that ownership but this square pie is awesome. Middle is incredibly fluffy with nice crunch around the sides and under carriage. Really hit the spot tonight!

Very great upside down pie. Fluffy like a pillow and the bottom has a nice crisp (especially if you eat it there). I would put it up there with some of the other well known pizzerias who do this type of pizza

Wasnt a fan. Not much taste to it couldnt taste much of anything

New owners now called basil the old vilabate food and pizza used to be way better then this, haven’t had a grandma like the old vilabate pizza

New name not called villabate anymore! Now called Get Basil or Basil, either way much better then prior. It was a little bit doughy but perfectly well done and crispy, cheese was good, crust was good, sauce was very good, and most importantly minimal flop and no grease. Very solid traditional slice.

Good crust not greasy. Pepperoni is hand cut. Sauce is ok.
