La Lanterna Restaurant & Caffe

Now this is something different!!! I discovered this place on Instagram after seeing they had a certain specialty pie, the OG stuffed Sicilian!!!! It is a freakishly light and fluffy pie that still has great crunch almost like a Detroit crust minus the caramelization. Then it’s stuffed or injected with their whipped ricotta and topped by a rich fresh tasting sauce and a grated parm giving off the L&B vibe plus some cup and char cuz I was feelin it today. I went half and half just cuz I was worried about the pep taking away some of the flavor, it didn’t only added to the experience. Again this is totally different and based more the experience as the place is so cool inside and how it looks for outdoor seating for the warm weather is like top tier date spot stuff either way if you wanna try some next level culinary artwork this is a must try and the trip to Yonkers is totally worth it!!!!
