Mushy undercooked crust at Eataly La Pizza&La Pasta after a 33 minute wait with a reservation. #DidTheyTurnTheOvenOn ? Pasta was good but I was here to try the pizza. Which gets a 2.9 out of 10 #DoBetterEataly #Eataly @ La Pizza & la Pasta MAJOR FLOP Overloaded with ingredients. Is this a buffet line serving? 2.9 is generous. Off to Fed’s in NJ for a thin crispy pie. Good thing the Gelato at Eataly cleansed the palate. Great coffee and chocolate Gelato! The gelato gets a 9.3

Da Buffala Mozzarella Margherita.... passed over this place for almost 5 years now till I saw them on Worth it. My pizza was so thin, heavy flop, dressed nice. The main crust was so light, fluffy and great. I just wished I had a little sea salt and red chili to sprinkle on this guy, but the water had a hairy situation with our neighboring table and could not be bothered. Somehow I ate the whole thing? This is a hidden gem in plain sight that we all avoid because of the tourism. Good Eatalian Pizza

Sloppy. Too much liquid on the pie. The cheese fell off EVERY SLICE. The bottom looked cooked, but soggy with the tomato and oil on top. Really disappointed. It was tasty. But you had to wait till it was ass cold for the cheese to stick, which made it suck.

Maybe an 8.0 in Italy, but a 6.2 in NYC. I knew something was wrong when I ordered a pie to go and she said it would just be a few minutes. The center is so soft and runny the cheese cannot stay on the dough which has the texture of rubber. It is a shame because the sauce is tasty, the cheese fresh and the outer crust perfectly crispy, but the 80% in the middle is soup.

The pizza here are good appetizer slices but not enough substance to satisfy. The Gastronomiche Salsicciota has the toppings to be good but the sauce and cheese flavor is far outweighed by the other ingredients that lack a great flavor. The marghetita traditionali was a good gauge of flavor with its light, thicker dough and quality ingredients. It was good but I was expecting better.

I got my hopes up for this place because Portnoy gave it an 8.0, which is relatively high on his scale. The pizza was good, but not my style. The pizza was what some of my friends would call “soupy” and I don’t like all that mess when I’m eating. The crust is great and the taste is average.
