La Pizzeria

Dined in. Ordered large cheese with mushrooms on half. Second pie was the tomato basil. Score for former 7.5, latter 7.9. I’ll go 7.7 overall. Plain cheese was a bit floppy and could have used an another minute or two in the oven for a better crisp. Cheese and sauce ratio good and was just greasy enough. Dough very good and crust was excellent - wish its crisp was throughout the whole slice. Solid pizza and would definitely eat again. The tomato basil was cooked to near perfection. Virtually no flop and nice crisp throughout. Sauce is sweet but thankfully not too much so. Only nit is could’ve have a bit more cheese. Would recommend. Like the ambience and is a quaint place especially for south Florida. If the music was louder (say Sinatra and similar selections and lights dimmed would add to the scene). Had a Billy Joel scenes from an Italian restaurant upside.
