La Rosa's Pizza Metuchen

Quintessential Football Pie. Great crust, great sauce, good cheese blend. No flop and surprisingly not a lot of grease/oil. Impressive. Side note - I ordered the small and got a 14”. If you want a true ‘small’ order the personal which is 10” I should have read the menu better. Would recommend!

Perfectly adequate lunchtime slice. Crust was a bit floppy toward the center, but good taste overall.

Bowling alley pizza but not the worst

$2.75. Floppy, kind of crispy and little greasy but solid slice. Sauce cheese ratio is good and not too salty.

Ordered a half plain/half margarita for delivery. Well done. Crust had some beautiful char and amazing crisp with barely any flop. Plain slice was a tad greasy, but that helped the slice be crispy but also so juicy and flavorful. Margarita was out of this world. Flavor was through the roof because of the olive oil and garlic. Sauce and cheese were great too. Beyond exceeded expectations.

Solid crisp, dough tasted thin, could use a little more mouthfeel. Solid slice, wouldn’t travel for it, but wouldn’t be unhappy if it was my local shop

Average pizza - lots of cheese but very little sauce. No tang.

Grandpa pie well done... amazing crisp, light vodka sauce and mozz on top.... delicious down to the last bite

Not really my type. Zero flavor. No tang like I enjoy. Cooked ok. Not terrible. I suggest trying it for yourself.

Decent slice of pizza. Slightly above average.

The sauce and cheese are delicious. Finished in the oven wonderfully, just crunchy enough and not too toasted. The essentials of a good pizza.
