First time reviewing a pizza in my birth state of New Jersey! Unfortunately since I’m visiting the shore in the off-season all of the big name pizza places are closed. I decided to try this one because the pictures looked good, and it’s been around for 27 years, just like me. This pizza is disappointing to say the least. I couldn’t even pick up this pizza at all without getting it all over myself. There was no finesse to this pizza at all. It’s like they dumped all the ingredients blindfolded and put it in the oven. The sauce and cheese were both underwhelming. There was copious amounts of cheese hidden under the sauce too, which I wasn’t a huge fan of. I must say the crust was fluffy, garlicky, and delicious. That’s all I can confidently say tasted good on this pizza. Maybe other styles of pizza are better at this place, but I was not a fan of this one at all.
