La Strada of Merrick

I don't love Napolitano style as much as the next but it does have a tasty sauce and crisp is nice. I can see why others rate it high

Now that's what I call high quality H2O. A hidden gem of a pie that doesn’t seem to get the attention it deserves as it’s hidden inside an authentic Italian restaurant as opposed to a traditional pizzeria. Sauce, seasoning and cheese all delectable. Great char and A+ undercarriage with some flop. Personal preference wonders if the pie had been more well done if it would have hit the 9’s. We have another contender and possible leader amongst the elite Long Island spots like Sorrento’s, etc.

This pizza is very high quality. The crust is paper thin and crisp. The sauce has a great tang in conjunction with the nice hints of oregano. The cheese is fresh and very little oil. This is a place a pizza lover should visit.

Great pizza. Glad I took the trip. Ingredients and spices are perfectly complimenting each other. Not as crispy of an under carriage but it did travel home. Going to go back and eat inside!

Honestly, this pizza is worth a 35 minute drive for. Surprised to say the least. Wish there was more tang in the sauce but what incredible dough.

Amazing wood fire pizza, unique style, a little flop but the taste and ingredients are so good it doesnt matter, better than overrated di faras any day

One of the best pies I’ve had. Sauce is A1, perfect amount of sweetness and tang. Cheese is dialed and crust is just enough crispy.

This was amazing- cheese, sauce omg and the crust so good. A little heavy and could be crispier. But an amazing pizza.

Very good Pizza, my personal favorite on Long Island. Has a really nice wood fired taste. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little crispier but other than that it was very good.

Pictured is leftover from here cause I was such a fat ass I couldn’t wait to eat the original and write a review. The sauce is amazing and very unique, wish it had more crunch but it’s a very thin slice. One of the best in Nassau

Very good. Got take out. Great atmosphere and people inside while waiting. Pizza met my expectations. Will be back! Yum!

Prez, Put Merrick Merrick, Long Island on your schedule and make sure you at one of our best kept pizza secrets “La Strada”. One Bite from this amazing Brick oven, fresh ingredients, dynamite sauce and great crisp and an 8.8+ will be memorialized by you and Frankie!

Overall this is unique the sauce and cheese are well put and fresh. Only downfall is crust can sometimes come out burnt.

Wow!!!!! This is very much like sorrento's in long beach except thinner. The sauce is addicting, the cheese is good quality and the dough has a good crisp on the bottom feels soft on top. If you love pizza you need to try this out. If anyone could rate this outside of the 9s please let me know were you eat pizza. It really doesn't get much better than this.

Great pie! Fresh ingredients, and great crust. Next time I’ll eat it there and see if it’s crispier. I go to the gym next door to it... this may become an issue;(
