La Supreme Pizza

La Supreme Pizza in Oakdale has been serving the community from this location for over 50 years, through a couple of different ownerships. As a self-declared pizza aficionado, I can confidently say this is quality New York pizza. The One Bite average is currently 6.9, with individual scores ranging from about 5.7 to 8.5. Some of those lower scores appear to factor in the overall experience and other menu items rather than judging strictly by the pizza. My slices had zero flop. Both the classic cheese and grandma slices held up perfectly, with a crust that was crispy without being overly crisp. The cheese was spectacular, the sauce-to-cheese ratio was right on point, and the crust itself had great flavor. For me, this is fantastic pizza and absolutely deserving of a score in the 8s.
