Pizza Review
NYC Location!!!! Originating from Naples Italy one of the most world renowned pizzas is brought to the city using what is said to be the original recipe dating back to the 1800s headed by Michele Rubini. The pizza is cooked in a hi temp true Italian oven using incredibly fresh tasting ingredients. The crust is loaded with char and leoparding underneath with incredible flavor. Airy and delicate around the edges the middle of the pie is definitely fork and knife as it’s to thin to hold up to the cheese and sauce. The cheese uses fior di latte, fresh silky cheese that is unlike anything I’ve had in this style so far. The sauce to me stands out the most. Rich tangy flavor comes from the fresh tomato that’s a perfect match for the cheese and complinted nicely by the basil that is anything but overpowering. Place itself has modern Naples feel to it, great people and service, what feels as close to authentic as you’ll get in NYC atleast so far for me. This kinda goes beyond a pizzadventure more so a culinary experience that is a must for any foodie!!!
