Can find much better pizza in Naples. Only worth the stop because of the movie.

Best pizza I’ve ever had.

Probably the best pizza I’ve had in my life. There’s a reason this place has been around since 1870 and is one of the most well known pizzerias in the world! It’s simple, yet so good. There’s few ingredients but every one of them is top tier. And not to mention is incredibly cheap at 5,50£. A must visit for any pizza fanatic!

Home of pizza lived up to its name

The holy grail of pizza. The final boss of the pizzaiolo. Essentially went to Naples solely for this experience. Absolutely outstanding pizza. PERFECTLY cooked. I am a happy man. 9.3/10 WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Incredible flavor from the Cossaca pie. The original margerita was also very good. Amazing sauce. Fork and knife pie as it doesn’t hold up under its own weight but so so so good. A crispy undercarriage gets this pie to a 9.5+. Please get the cossaca and the regular when you go. Don’t miss it.

Long wait, but it's worth it

Cheese Slice

Well, high expectations from the movie, the high score. We showed up 30 minutes before they opened and we were 8th table in line. Hundreds outside when we finished. Absolutely Amazing. Sauce was unbelievable with a tang that was again unbelievable. Mozzarella cheese, fantastic. Wood fired with slight char but did not deflate the taste. Eat Pray, Eat- this is a must if you come to Naples (Napoli) Italy. Four kinds of pizza and one size, $5.50 euros. What, yes, could charge 3x more and I wouldn’t blink.

Not sure how else to describe this but perfect. Worth the wait! Try and sit close to the oven to get all the action!

On my trip to visit the birthplace of pizza I discovered that I love innovation and evolution…. Except when it comes to Da Michelle. A pizza that still out preforms it’s NY/American counterparts and probably hasn’t changed it’s price since Joe DiMaggio’s ancestors sailed across the Atlantic. The freshest of ingredients and incredible taste should inspire all to be their best julia Robert’s and eat pray love all the way to Naples to grab this iconic slice
