Another wood fire pizza. First slice was slammin', but as it cooled down, it kinda got meh. Ordered the grandma pie because it was closest to an old school pie...sauce on top. Burnt crispy crust was great, even the outer crust. Was very light on the cheese and sauce, but both were great. Sauce had a great taste, almost tangy. Great tasting pizza.
However...
I started questioning the cleanliness of the place, especially being boujee Marlton. They came out with a very large amount of parmesan cheese, oregano, and red pepper separated in three small cup plates. Way too much for a pizza. Do they just re-use it after people just dig their fingers in it? Throw it out?🤷🏼
Then the kinda gross part. We sat at the pizza bar, so we can watch them make it. Mistake. The pizza peel (the tool they use to take pizzas in and out of the oven), when they are done using it, they put the part that touches the pizzas...on the floor 😳. Where there was literally trash, people walking all over it, next to the trash can. Found that pretty nasty. Doesn't change the score, but that's just gross.
