I know it’s frowned upon to give any place a 10, so I won’t do that... however, I gave Lazzara’s pretty close to that. This was hands down the best pizza I have ever had in my life (so far). It’s thin, it’s FULL of flavor, it has a nice crunch to it. You can mix up your toppings and get half the pizza (3 slices) one way and half as something else- which makes it super convenient to try all the different pizzas they have. I literally have zero complaints. Everything was amazing. Also, I started with a salad and it was the best dressing ever. Sadly for me I don’t live in NYC so I can’t go get it anytime I want —BUT you can order this pizza and dressing and get it sent to you (nationwide). I’ll keep you posted on how that turns out :)

I’m from Michigan and took a trip to NY this past weekend and had Lazzaras because it was close to where we were located.. I’ve never had a thin pizza with just the right amount of crisp in every bite but still enough dough to be well balanced. Cheese was very good and the sauce was on point with just a little bit of tanginess to it. If you’re coming from out of state like me definitely add this to the list of places to stop.

Pass. It is not a NY Style Pizza, which is fine. It is a super thin crust with good amount of sauce. The sauce is not sweet nor bitter. Just neutral—no real flavor. The crust is super thin but is a little crisp. Why the poor score? The slice doesn’t do anything for me. No great crust. No great sauce. Just a slice. Dave, were you having an off day?

It’s crunchy and spicy. Didn’t exactly fit my preferred flavor profile, but it was cooked undeniably well

Thin. Crispy. Balanced. Flavorful sauce. Everything as it should be. Easy to eat three pieces.

Very good pie, Quality ingredients, perfect amount of crunch and nice and crispy on the edges. Sauce was a little sweet to my liking but still good and the bottom of the pie came out a little soft on one end of the slice which bumped it down a bit for me, but this pie is prob an 8 plus on most days.

We tried several pies: cheese, pepperoni with black olives, and sausage with banana peppers. Of the trio, the sausage with banana peppers was the best (9.2). Cheese gets a 8.9. Solid, major league pizza.

Wife and I go to NYC for the sights and pizza. With such a high score we had to try Lazzara's. The vibe of the place was on point but unfortunately that's where it ended. Pizza was somehow very very very salty while also being too sweet. With John's, Joe's and Angelo's being close by I don't knowbwhy anyone would choose this place. Sorry prez but you got the score wrong on this one.

Half pizza (cheese) and a Sam Adams, 8pm on a Saturday night, $18 and change Pros - First bite packed some seasoning flavor. Really strong and really good. Nice slice of mozzarella over each piece of pizza, a good thick bite and texture to compliment the dough. I love the rectangle shape with the crispy edge. Awesome sauce ratio, I kinda love it Cons: Fantastic but not world beating. Still the best I’ve had so far in the biggest pizza city Verdict: I think I was hoping for a 9 based on the beautiful look of this pizza and it does taste excellent. If I try it again maybe it can get closer to that lofty score but overall I’m pretty psyched to have tried this pizza

Great pizza. Very good sauce. Excellent thin crust with good crunch, with a little flop. Highly recommend!

Best damn pizza ever. Tangy sauce. Perfect amount of cheese. Cracker crisp crust with the perfect amount of black from the oven. Must have everytime you are in New York.
