Yeah, this is pretty unique. I thought the crust would’ve had burnt edges with caramelized cheese, but it’s just crispy edges. It’s a very thin crust cracker style pizza with a very sweet sauce and a mild cheese, but it is darn good. I was surprised by the buffalo, it was a mix of what seems like buffalo honey and red sauce, but it actually was very good. This place is worth hitting for sure.

Sauce is very sweet. Crust rocks, super thin. Cheese is nice and a tad salty. Pepperoni is deli style and hot honey hits. Solid pie

An absolute stunner!!! The crispness and taste was something I’ve never had before. The ambiance felt as if we was having friends over to watch football and eat pizza. A must visit.

Ordered the clam and garlic and the special which looks like it had prosciutto, sun dried tomatoes and olives. The clam pie was better but neither were mind blowing.

StoolPresidente nailed it with this one. SuperLight, crispy, great thin crust, great sauce. I could eat 4 whole pies.

I do not understand the rest of these reviews. This pizza is just a flatbread and it’s just okay… Angelo’s Coal Oven, up the street, that is also in the 9’s from Portnoy is way better than this. Based on how old this video is, it might be time for him to do some second reviews because obviously his grading scale has changed over the years.

High quality, pep to be desired but cheese would go crazy

Definitely not a 9.3!! The pizza is good don’t get me wrong. I was torn between a 8.1 and 7.9. It was a bit soft in the middle and the sauce had a twang that wasn’t my favorite. The cheese was really good! The edges have a great crunch and the dough tasted good.

Pepperoni. Thin and light. Could easily crush a full size alone.

Thin crispy pizza , small Pie, it’s the way they have made it for 45 years according to the waiter. I was disappointed with the reg. Cheese pie that Portnow gave a 9.3 but the pepperoni was great,8.3. Definitely not a one bite review, it gets better the more you eat.i Give the regular cheese pie A 7.4

Phenomenal pizza. Thin and crispy wish a nice sweet sauce. Great under carriage and nice airy dough for such a thin slice. Wows all around, legit pie. Will be back!

IMHO, Lazzara’s isn’t in the same league as Angelos, and most definitely not in the 9s. It’s a decent pie, has a decent crust, and the restaurant has a good atmosphere, but a 9?? Not even close.
